Fa-xing Ding, male, Ph.D., professor at Central South University. Engaged in research on material strength theory and seismic and fire safety of structures. Xiaomeng Hou is a professor and doctoral supervisor at the School of Civil Engineering, Harbin Institute of Technology. He is mainly engaged in the research of fire resistance performance and fire resistance design of concrete structures, dynamic performance and design method of activated powder concrete structures, identification and reinforcement of existing buildings. He has presided over the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) projects, sub-projects of Key R&D Program, and Excellent Youth Science Foundation of Heilongjiang Province. Yu Chen, Associate Professor, Doctoral Supervisor of Sun Yat-sen University, is a member of the "Hundred Talents Program". He has long been engaged in tunnel engineering, subway engineering, underground engineering support, artificial intelligence, numerical simulation modeling development and theory, geotechnical multi-field multiphase coupling, engineering toughness support mechanism, engineering testing and other aspects of research. He has rich scientific research and practical experience in urban underground space development, rock engineering, mountain tunnels, large-scale cross-sea tunnels, etc. His scientific research achievements have been widely recognized by domestic and foreign counterparts, and he maintains close scientific cooperation with overseas universities and industrial circles. He has been selected as one of the 100 outstanding recipients of China Postdoctoral Science Fund. DECRA Research Fellow and Senior Lecturer Junjie Zeng

Dr Junjie Zeng is currently a DECRA research fellow and senior lecturer at the University of South Australia. Dr Zeng received his PhD degree from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University in 2017. Dr Zeng's research interests include fiber-reinforced polymer (FRP) composites for construction, FRP reinforced ultra-high-performance concrete structures, durable marine concrete structures and additive manufacturing of concrete and continuous FRP composites. Dr Zeng has made significant advances on applying FRP composites in civil engineering applications. The impacts contributed by Dr Zeng are demonstrated by his successful attraction of more than one million dollars worth of grants as CI, including an Australian Early Career Researcher Award. The significant contributions from Dr Zeng in his field are reflected by his strong publication track record including more than 120 co-authored journal articles and over 3,300 citations. Dr Zeng has involved in many administration activities such as serving as an editorial board member of journal of Composite Structures.
